Tax Group: Setting it Up in Qwizeen

In Qwizeen, the Tax Group feature allows you to assign different tax rates to orders based on specific locations, using ZIP codes. This helps ensure accurate tax collection according to local regulations.
- Navigate to the Meal Prep Settings:
- Go to the Meal Prep section on the left sidebar and select Tax Group.
- Add a New Tax Group:
- Click on the + Add button at the top right.
- In the popup, enter a Name for the tax group. This could be the name of the state, city, or region.
- Enter the Price or percentage of tax you want to apply.
- Add the ZIP codes associated with that specific tax rate. You can enter multiple ZIP codes separated by commas, spaces, or tabs.
- Enable Auto Tax (Optional):
- If you’d like the system to automatically apply the tax based on the user’s location, toggle the Auto Tax switch.
- If you’d like the system to automatically apply the tax based on the user’s location, toggle the Auto Tax switch.
- Save the Group:
Once all fields are completed, click Add to save the tax group. This tax group will now be applied to orders from the specified ZIP codes.
Managing Tax Groups:
Once created, you can view and manage your tax groups from the same page. Adjust the tax rates or ZIP codes anytime by selecting the group you want to edit.
