Managing the Inventory Log


The Inventory Logs feature in your system allows you to keep track of all inventory-related activities, such as stock deductions, adjustments, and approvals. This helps ensure transparency and accuracy in your inventory management.

How to Use the Inventory Logs Feature

1. Viewing Inventory Logs

  1. Navigate to Inventory > Logs from the sidebar.
  2. Browse through the list of logs. Use the search bar at the top to quickly locate items by their title.


2. Filtering Logs

  1. Click on the Filter button at the top-right corner.
  2. In the Filter Logs pop-up:
    • Select the relevant inventory item, package, or type.
    • Adjust the date range or quantity range fields as needed.
    • Click Search to apply the filters.
  3. The results will display logs matching your criteria.

3. Understanding Log Details

  • Reason: Explains why the log entry was created.
  • Stock Status: Indicates whether the log entry has been approved or is still pending.
  • Count & Unit Price: Provides detailed quantitative information about the stock involved.

Tips for Effective Log Management

  • Regularly review logs to ensure accuracy in stock movement.
  • Use the filters to quickly identify discrepancies or specific activities.
  • Export logs for external audits or team reviews, if applicable.
