How to Use the Menu Builder in Qwizeen

The Menu Builder in Qwizeen allows you to create and customize menus for your business. This guide will help you understand the key features and steps to get started.

Accessing the Menu Builder

  1. Log in to your Qwizeen account.
  2. Navigate to the left-hand menu bar and click Menus.
  3. Under Menus, select Menu Builder.

Adding a Menu

  1. Click on the Add Menu button.

  1. Fill in the required details:
    • Active: Toggle “Yes” to make the menu active or “No” to deactivate it.
    • Menu Name: Enter the name of your menu (e.g., “Lunch Specials”).
    • Available To: Select the platforms where the menu will be accessible:
      • POS (Point of Sale)
      • QR: Order & Pay
      • Online Orders
      • Reservation: Pre-Select Order
    • Menu Availability: Choose the time the menu will be available:
      • Same hours every day: Enter start and end times.
      • Custom hours: Set specific hours for each day.

  2. Click Save to create the menu.

Adding Categories to a Menu

  1. Select the menu you want to edit.
  2. Click Add Categories under the desired menu.
  3. Enter the category name (e.g., “Burgers”) and click Save.

Adding Items to a Category

  1. Click on the Add Items button within a category.
  2. Fill in the item details, including:
    • Item name (e.g., “Cheeseburger”)
    • Price
    • Description (optional)
    • Add-ons, modifiers, and toppings (optional)
  3. Save the item once completed.

Importing Items

You can import items into your menu using an Excel sheet or UberEats data:

  1. Click Import Menus in the top-right corner.
  2. Choose an import option:
    • Import Excel: Upload a spreadsheet.
    • Import from UberEats: Sync your existing menu from UberEats.

Publishing Updates

Once you’ve made changes to your menu:

  1. Click the Publish Updates button in the top-right corner.
  2. Confirm your updates to make them live.

Additional Features

  • Subcategories: Organize items further within categories.
  • Modifiers & Toppings: Add custom options for items (e.g., “Extra Cheese”).

Unit Groups & Units: Set up measurements (e.g., liters, grams).
