Managing Your Kitchen Display System
The Kitchen Display System (KDS) feature in Qwizeen helps streamline your kitchen workflow by organizing active meal prep orders. KDS ensures smooth tracking of meal statuses and provides visibility into orders that are in progress, prepared, or completed.
How to Access the KDS Page
- Navigate to KDS
- Go to Meal Prep on the left-hand menu.
- Select KDS from the options.
- You will be directed to the Kitchen Page, where you can view and manage all meal prep orders.
Understanding the KDS Page
On the Kitchen Page, the dashboard is divided into the following sections:
| Section | Description |
| All | Total number of meal orders, including active and completed. |
| In Progress | Orders currently being prepared in the kitchen. |
| Prepared | Orders that are fully prepared and ready for delivery. |
- No Active Orders: If no orders are currently being processed, you will see a message indicating this.
- Visual Indicators: Order counts update in real-time as new orders are received and processed.
How to Manage Orders in KDS
- Monitor Orders
- Use the All, In Progress, and Prepared sections to monitor the status of meal orders.
- Update Order Status
- As meals are being prepared, update their progress to reflect the real-time status.
- Move orders from In Progress to Prepared once they are ready.
- Ensure Kitchen Efficiency
- Use the KDS to streamline communication within the kitchen staff, ensuring orders are completed accurately and on time.

- Apply the Filter:
- Once you have selected the date range, the KDS page will automatically refresh to show only the meals that fall within the specified dates.
